Study in Germany Reveals Positive Results for Accuracy and Practicability of EasyAngle

A recently concluded clinical study in Germany revealed that EasyAngle ranked highly in terms of accuracy and practicability when compared to the CROM device and the iPhone app. The study was led by Sebastian Köcker at Universätsklinikum Freiburg, and compares the EasyAngle, an iPhone app and the CROM device with regards to usability and accordance. It is also the first study on EasyAngle conducted outside Sweden.

Today, the development of physiotherapy into a more academic profession requires the development of tools that enable standardised measurements. In particular, objective measurement on the cervical spine is still difficult in clinical practice. Currently, the CROM device is often considered to be the gold standard to measuring cervical rotation by physiotherapists, while, in recent years, mobile applications have also emerged as a possible method to measure range of motion. It is therefore highly positive that EasyAngle was able to perform as expected.

In all, this study provides another important source of clinical evidence for EasyAngle on an international basis. Read more about the study here.
